PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Meteorological information system
The Rozas Airborne Research Center (CIAR), located in Lugo, was a joint initiative of INTA, the Xunta de Galicia and the Ministry of Economy, funded by the ERDF.
It is a pioneering center that integrates aerial research platforms and remotely piloted airborne systems (RPAS), offering infrastructures for the development and safe evaluation of aircraft.
For its operation, a meteorological information system was required to collect data from local and regional networks, guaranteeing quality and reliability, in addition to having meteorological information at altitude by means of profilers or nearby sounders.
