From Preditec (Alava Group), we have presented, together with 50 other companies and led by Renault Spain, an innovation plan with 31 initiatives that aim to develop the strategic project for the recovery and economic transformation (PERTE) of the electric and connected vehicle (EV). In order to make the country the undisputed leader in the sustainable mobility sector.

The intention of this initiative is to work in the areas of decarbonization of the sector, where hydrogen and electricity will take the maximum relevance. Also the technological advancement of autonomous vehicles, the development of electronic vehicle platforms and the promotion of mobility as a service.

Preditec will develop a primary project within the process innovation blocks. The digitalization plan consists of the creation of an IoT platform for the automotive manufacturing chains to enable better asset management and maintenance.

This PERTE, has been launched thanks to the collaboration of the Innovation Consultancy Zabala Innovation, with an implementation period until June 30, 2025.

In the words of Mr. José Fernández-Diez, executive vice-president of Grupo Álava, "This is a very exciting project for all of us, because it allows us to lead the change towards a more sustainable, autonomous and connected mobility. It will allow us as a country to continue to be leaders in the automotive sector and to endorse the trust that the market and society itself has placed in our Group's half-century of experience."

70% of this group of companies is made up of SMEs and represent 10 of the country's autonomous communities. These companies reflect a large ecosystem of industries and technologies. Including high-tech companies, such as Preditec (Alava Group), clean energy, circular economy, services, vehicle manufacturing, components and batteries. In addition, there are universities and technology centers.

About Preditec
