The North American Treaty Organization (NATO) is increasingly relying on Spanish industry, including Álava Ingenieros.

NEW MARKETS, NEW TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS

NATO is increasing its purchases of technology and services from Spanish companies. Specifically, the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) awarded almost thirty Spanish companies in 2020. This makes a total of 58 contracts worth €80,000 or more each.

As shared in InfoDefensa, these data are collected in greater detail in the yearbook of the national sector Spain Defence & Security Industry published by the reference publisher IDS entitled "Industry in full performance".

Among the companies benefiting from these awards in 2020 is Álava Ingenieros, a company of the Álava Group.
Other Spanish companies with which NATO is increasing purchases from companies include MBDA España, Expal Systems, Nammo Palencia, Up Lifting Vertical, Aribus Helicopters España, Babcock Mission Critival Services and Thales, among other large companies in the sector.

NATO is responsible for an estimated procurement volume of close to 3 billion euros per year according to data published by IDS.
