PROJECT OBJECTIVE
INTA-NASA Training and Visitor Center Perimeter Protection
The objective of the project was to develop and implement a highly reliable perimeter protection system for the INTA-NASA Visitor and Training Center , a critical facility for space operations and research.
The solution was to prevent intrusions and unauthorized access by effectively discriminating effectively discriminate between real threats and false alarms, and be scalable and scalable and integrable with other existing security systems, and be able to operate uninterruptedly. Thus, the aim was not only to not only to protect the physical perimeter, but also to strengthen the overall security the overall security infrastructure and lay the groundwork for future technological improvements. the foundations for future technological improvements.

Product
Security and communications
INTREPID™ MicroPoint™ II is the next generation version of Southwest Microwave's field-proven fence detection system for applications where detection of attempted cutting or climbing is necessary. A new and improved FSK communications system increases the range for system communication along the sensor wires.
RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Adaptable and flexible technology
The implementation of this technology at the INTA-NASA Training and Visitor Center generated clear benefits:
- Increased perimeter security: the system offered total control over the 3,200-meter perimeter, eliminating gaps and ensuring continuous surveillance.
- Fewer false alarms: Advanced signal analysis drastically reduced false alarms, allowing personnel to focus on real threats and improve operational response.
- Improved risk management: the ability to differentiate between real threats and harmless movements optimized the use of resources, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
- Peace of mind for the team: the system's reliability boosted the confidence of operators and managers, improving the safety and stability of the working environment.
- Long-term vision: ready to grow, the system was designed to adapt to future expansions and new technologies, ensuring its long-term usefulness.
